Lebioda Sets Record Breaking Pace on Korn Ferry Tour
Hank Lebioda is off to a historic start in the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour season, setting a blistering pace on the points list that has positioned him as a frontrunner for a return to the PGA TOUR. The 31-year-old Orlando native has surged to No. 1 after securing his first Korn Ferry Tour victory at the Bahamas Golf Classic in January and backing it up with two third place finishes, a 5th and a 7th in the first eight events of the 2025 season.
In his 62nd career start, Lebioda clinched the title with a birdie on the first hole of a playoff against S.H. Kim, finishing with a tournament-record 18-under 262. His final-round 66 erased a four-stroke deficit, showcasing his resilience and skill. The victory not only marked a personal milestone but also propelled him to the top of the season-long points standings, a position he has maintained through the season’s early events.

Lebioda’s remarkable turnaround is underscored by his rapid ascent from a conditional status to start 2024 to the current leader in the points race. His consistent performance, including multiple top-10 finishes, has solidified his status as a dominant force on the tour. With the top 20 players on the points list earning PGA TOUR cards at the end of the season, Lebioda’s early success has placed him in a strong position to secure his return to the premier circuit. If Lebioda holds on to the #1 spot on the Points List at the end of the season, he will earn Full Status on the PGA TOUR in 2026, as well as invitations to 2026 The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass and the 2026 US OPEN at Shinnecock Hills. Lebioda is also leading the Korn Ferry Tour in Scoring Average, and is 5th in Par 4 scoring average.
Lebioda played five consecutive seasons on the PGA TOUR from 2018 through 2023. Hank’s best finishes on the PGA TOUR included at 3rd place finish at the Bermuda Championship, a 4th place at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, and 5th at the Travelers Championship.
