Florida State Standout, Cole Anderson, Signs with Fidelity Sports Group
Cole Anderson, a Camden, ME native, has signed with Fidelity Sports Group for exclusive representation as he embarks on his professional golf career. Anderson will make his professional debut from June 10-14 at PGA TOUR Americas Qualifying School in Courtenay, BC, Canada.
Anderson enjoyed a stellar amateur career at Florida State University and beyond where he was a constant fixture in their line-up all 5 years. Anderson was named an All-American, All-ACC, and PING All-Region in 2023 due to his career year which saw his lowest scoring average as a Seminole (70.62). Anderson was ranked as high as 37th on the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) due to his stellar play during his 4th year of school. Outside of golf, Anderson was a four-time ACC Academic Honor Roll member
In 2022, as a redshirt sophomore, Anderson received a sponsor’s invitation to play in a Korn Ferry Tour Event in his home state of Maine. In his first professional rounds, Anderson shot back-to-back 67’s to firmly place himself within the cutline. During the third round, Anderson shot a bogey-free 64 to go into the final round tied for the lead. After solid play on Sunday, Anderson finished tied for 3rd as an amateur in his first professional tournament.
As a Maine Native, Anderson quickly became a household name in the golf world up north. In 2019, Anderson won the 100th Maine Amateur joining an exclusive list of players. However, the following year, Anderson further added to his list of accomplishments by winning the 101st Maine Amateur becoming one of a select few players to win multiple Maine Amateur Championships.
