Davis Chatfield Finishes Sixth Place in Wichita on Korn Ferry Tour
Davis Chatfield has been the epitome of consistency during the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour season, only missing 2 cuts out of the 13 tournaments he has played in.
In the 11 tournaments that Chatfield had made the cut in, his best finish was tied for 11th at the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic held in January. That all changed this past week as Chatfield fired rounds of 66-65-66-68 to finish at 15 under par, good enough for a T6 finish. Last week’s tournament was the highest finish of Chatfield’s KFT career.
Due to his high finish, Chatfield moved from 70th to 47th on the season long Korn Ferry Tour Points List. If Chatfield was to finish within the Top 30 on the points list, he would receive his PGA Tour card for the 2025 season.
This is Chatfield’s second season on KFT. He turned professional in 2022 following a standout career at Notre Dame University where he was a constant figure in their lineup during his 5 years. Additionally, Chatfield excelled in back-to-back years at the United States Amateur Championship. In 2020, Chatfield advanced to the Round of 16 at the famous Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. The following year, Chatfield improved on his finish by making it to the Quarterfinals at the infamously challenging Oakmont Country Club.
