Three Top 16 Finishes on Tour in Springfield, Missouri

Lanto Griffin, Justin Hueber and Ryan Sullivan stayed patient and went low in Springfield, Missouri at the Price Cutter Charity Championship, all finishing in the Top 16 at the Tour event.

Lanto Griffin posted a 6th place finish, moving his total for the year to $165,082 and currently 22nd on the Money List with two events to go in the regular season. At the conclusion of the regular season, the Top 25 on the Money List secure their PGA Tour cards for the 2017/2018 season and Lanto is very close to having his “card” secured!

Justin Hueber posted a 13th place finish in Springfield, moving him to 61st on the Money List with $68,992 in prize money. The finish should secure Hueber’s 2018 Tour card and a spot in the 2017 Tour Playoffs, a four week stretch in five weeks where another 25 PGA Tour cards are awarded. Typically, a player needs to post one Top 7 finish in a playoff event to secure their Tour card.

Ryan Sullivan successfully Monday Qualified into the field in Springfield. It was his second consecutive successful Monday after also qualifying for the Ellie Mae Classic in Hayward, California the week prior but missing the cut.  Ryan made 28 birdies on the week, second most in the field, en route to a 16th place finish.  The Top 25 finish secures his spot into this week’s News Sentinel Open in Knoxville, Tennessee and the prize money also secures his spot in the season ending WinCo Foods Portland Open the week following.
