The PGA Tour Latin America is set to kick off the 2016 season this week in Medellin, Colombia. Four Fidelity Sports Group clients are in the field as they continue to chase down their dream of competing on the PGA Tour.
Willy Pumarol (Top Left): Willy is a full status member of the 2016 PGA Tour Latin America thanks to a stellar 2015 which included two top 10 finishes on the Tour. Willy was the medalist at the 2014 PGA Tour Latin America Q School, and is the #1 professional golfer from the Dominican Republic
Justin Hueber (Top Right): A full status member of PGA Tour Latin America in 2015 and 2016, Justin also earned Web.com Tour Status for the 2016 season. Due to an off week in the Web.com schedule, Justin is participating in Medellin. 2015 marked the best year in Justin’s professional career with two wins on PGA Tour Latin America including the Mexico Open and Americas Cup where he teamed with PGA Tour star Matt Kuchar.
Lanto Griffin (Bottom Left): Lanto Griffin is a full status member of the 2016 PGA Tour Latin America thanks to a win at the 2015 Uruguay Open, and a 21st place finish on the Money List in only 7 events. Lanto won an additional three events in the United States in 2015.
Brian Richey (Bottom Right): Brian Richey is a member of the Web.com Tour and excited to start his 2016 campaign with his very first PGA Tour Latin America event. His 2015 Web.com Tour season was highlighted by a 5th place finish at the televised Cleveland Open. Brian finished 80th on the 2015 Web.com Tour money list to retain 2016 Web.com Tour membership status.
